Hoell (pronounced “Hail”) supports Good Company's clients and projects with technical research, market research and market development.  Hoell works primarily with business and government and leads Good Company's work in the natural foods industry.

Hoell’s technical work includes conducting sustainability assessments and greenhouse gas inventories for Good Company's clients.  She has examined aspects of supply chain and business operations including energy, fuel and climate change impacts; material use, recycling and waste; water use; indoor air quality; and landscape and habitat impacts for businesses ranging from retail to manufacturing to professional services.

She recently consulted with Burgerville to conduct an in-depth analysis of its supply chain and perform a greenhouse gas inventory of its operations.  She also recently completed a comprehensive greenhouse gas inventory for the City of Vancouver, WA for city government operations.  She will follow that with a second inventory for the community, including both business and citizen activities. Hoell is in the process of conducting a greenhouse gas inventory for City of Portland, OR Parks and Recreation Department(Click here for more information about Good Company's climate services)

Hoell's current market research includes a market development strategy on behalf of Eugene Water & Electric Board’s (EWEB) Drinking Water Source Protection program. The project focuses on developing a robust local and regional food network that can provide access and opportunities to organic and natural food markets for local growers located within the metro area’s drinking water watershed. She has also worked with EWEB's Greenpower program to develop a go-to market strategy for the hospitality and events industry.

Hoell contributes technical and communications advice for sustainability-related public service announcements in a partnership between Eugene Mayor Piercy’s Sustainable Business Initiative and Cumulus Broadcasting Inc.  Hoell is the chair of the selection committee for the Mayor's Bold Steps Toward Sustainability Award.

Hoell has a BA in Environmental Science from the University of Denver. She is a LEED™ Accredited Professional.

Hoell speaks regularly on corporate sustainability and other sustainability topics. Click here for a list of her presentations and publications.
