Luftig contributes technical and market research support to Good Company's projects and clients.
Her work has included gathering data for economic, environmental and social performance indicators for Eugene Water & Electric Board’s corporate responsibility report. She also supported the City of Eugene in researching sustainable purchasing policies, strategies and tools. Other duties include integration of current climate research into targeted education workshop materials, specifically for University of Oregon’s Sustainable Leadership Program (SLP).
Before joining Good Company, Luftig worked for Climate Clean, a carbon offset provider, to update its internal climate science and policy materials. Her responsibilities included research on emerging offset markets, verification standards for offset quality and general climate science.
Luftig has a BA in Politics with a minor in Environmental Science from Willamette University, where she researched the role of public participation in community wind development.
